A Love Song on Father’s Day

Holy is the Father

       Who sits enthroned above

Everlasting is Your mercy

       And endless is Your love

Always have You known me

       Before I was conceived

Victory You’ve given

       Even ‘fore I first believed

Endless is Your wisdom

       Perfect are Your ways

Never shall my lips

       Fail to give you praise

Loved so much You gave

       The perfect sacrifice

You gave to me Your Son

       His blood the purchase price

Forgiving me of sin

       You grant me righteousness

And even though I falter

       You love me nonetheless

To You I write these words

       To You this song I sing

Happy Father’s day

       My Abba and my King

Ever shall I love You

       Forever You are mine

Resting in the promise

       That I am ever Thine
